Step 3: Go to the Developers Page

After accessing the dashboard, the next step is to go to the developers page.

This is where you can generate, view, and manage your API keys, which are essential for making requests to the Imagior API.

Understanding the Developers Page

The Developers page is designed to help you securely manage your API keys, which are critical for authenticating requests to the Imagior API.

Here are the key features you will find:

  • Private API Key: Your API key is displayed in the “Private API Key” section. This key is unique to your account and should be kept secure. Never share or expose your API key on the client side or in public repositories. Use it only on secure server environments to prevent unauthorized access. Any stolen key that results in your credits being used will not allow for a refund.

  • Generate or Reset API Key: If you don’t have an API key, click on the “Generate API Key” button. This will generate a new key. Once you create your first key, this button will convert to a “Generate API Key” button. Be aware that resetting your key will immediately break any existing integrations that rely on the old key, so ensure you update all applications and scripts accordingly.

  • Copy Your API Key: You can easily copy your API key by clicking the “Copy” button next to the key. This is useful when setting up new integrations or updating existing ones.

  • Documentation Access: At the bottom of the Developers page, you’ll find a link to the Imagior documentation site (you’re in it), docs.imagior.com. This is your go-to resource for detailed guides, API references, and best practices.

Next Step: Generate Your First API Key

Once you’ve reviewed the Developers page and managed your API key, you can proceed to the next step:

Generate Your First API Key to start making authenticated requests to the Imagior API.
